First and formost our role is to teach the young scout how to operate in a group and individually, we use traditional scouting methods to enrich their learning experience.
Weekly meetings during term times allows the young scout to remember the various promises and rules of a scout as well as remember what has been learnt each week.
We aim to provide the opportunity for at least 4 camps a year with the view to attending some of the Eurocamps that are held annually in various locations.
Camps provide the ideal opportunity for the young scout to develop a wide range of skills that will help them during life outside scouts
We arrange day trips for our young scouts, these are usually education based, mixed with fun activities.
These are very rewarding for young scouts, not only as a group but also for the individual scout.
We always check sites we propose to visit and ensure the childs safety comes first.
Our last trip was to the Cotswold Wildlife Park when they held their uniform day event.
