Our Groups at Upper Rissington
All our leaders are fully DBS checked and have ongoing training provided by the Baden Powell Scout Association.
We have a set of policies in place that every leader is required to follow at all times, our volunteer committee ensures the group operates within these policies as well as any current legal policies set by local and national government or any appropriate authority.
As a charity based organisation we also have the charity rules and regulations we have to follow.
Our leaders are constantly assessing their programs for sessions to ensure we are constantly giving a quality and safe service and are always available before and after sessions to discuss things with parents and carers, we also run closed facebook groups for each section that only parents with children in that section have access to along with all leaders of the 1st Upper Rissington Scout Group.

We run five groups at Upper Rissington to cover as many age groups as we can.
You do not have to start from the beginning in Beavers (depending on age) and can join our groups at any time of the year.

Beavers............5 years to 8 years
Wolf Cubs.........8 years to 11 years
Scouts..............11 years to 15 years
Senior Scouts....15 years to 18 years
Rover Scouts.....18 years to infinity
